Timing Chest Cover
‘HRD’ timing chest cover with build number ’42’. The currently fitted cover is build number ’96’ which was also shipped to Weston Webb in NZ. The covers were either deliberately or inadvertently swapped at some point. We know that ’96’ was originally fitted to a Comet that has long since been broken up… Is the original cover still out there?
Waisted Racing Axles
We are desperate to acquire a pair of H25/3AS (front) and H25/4 (rear) waisted axle bolts. Acquiring genuine ones seems a very long shot so accurate measurements, to enable us to machine-up some reproduction ones, would be a massive help. In particular dimensions for the rear axle are needed for cross-referencing the data that we already have.
Fasteners
We are always looking for original Vincent fasteners. In the past, owners have replaced many of the original nuts and bolts on their machines with stainless steel items. If you possess any old fasteners (in any condition) and would consider selling them to us, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
